Who is the Sexiest Romance Novel Hero?

Diana had the pleasure of blogging last week on Nalini Singh's excellent blog. While there, the idea of having a poll on the Sexiest Man NEVER Alive came up. That is, the sexiest romance novel hero. Sounds like a proper way to end this November's Sexiest Man Alive month.

After carefully considering the candidates that Nalini's readers came up with, it seemed best to group the men by author. Why? There were SO many nominees...

A question came up that is quite interesting: how many of these men are actual men? That is, not shape-shifters or vamps or whatnot? Are any of these men, besides Mr. Darcy, men? I don't know all the books well enough to know. And what does it mean if few (or none) of them are? What does that say about contemporary romance today?

But we know in our hearts that we can all have our very own Sexiest Man Alive. Our personal Sexiest Man Alive. That's what's so great about fiction. You can imagine whomever you like as the hero of your story. No one can tell you who's the sexiest.

Gypsy Psychic Says Goodbye: The One True Love Series is Written

Diana just handed in the last book in the One True Love series, Hungry for More. Alas, that is the last book in the series. No more gypsy psychics. No more One True Love. No more Burns sisters.

Of course, the book won't be out until fall 2008, so for you, dear reader, there's more to come.

But for Diana, she's through. On to the next thing.

What will the next thing be? Well, no Gypsies. No psychics. Other than that, she's not telling.
